The first thing to note is that this is a warm and light jacket ideal for hill walking or genrally use around town. If feels good quality and I like that the logo is not stitched in, can lead to to loss of integrity of the material and let water in if stiched. One down side is that the hood is always out and I would have prefered it if it could be stowed in the way that NF and Berghaus tend to do. Not a big problem but I feel it would look better to have it stowed when not in use.

Great outer shell - Not so great fleece attachments
Have had this jacket for about a year now, and overall I have been very happy with it.

The outer shell is excellent - and has kept me dry in some pretty serious downpours in the countryside. I have noticed some water running into the pocket areas though, which I think can be attributed to the water running/seeping in along the draw-cord that routes via the pockets.

The only disappointment I have is with the fasteners on the fleece that attach it to the outer shell. The ones on my jacket seemed quite flimsy, and indeed came away from the fleece itself within one or two 'changes' - leaving holes around the cuff area and the fasteners themselves coming loose altogether.

Overall very good, bar the fleece fastening quality.
