Best Softshell I've ever owned
For all those looking for a quality, warm, rainproof and windproof softshell at a great price look no further.

I've had many outdoor items in the past and Marmot are now my No1 brand.

This particular softshell is amazing, fantastic in blue, great pockets with hand warmers, great fitting hood with adjusters, all YKK zippers, rainproof of course, with a really nice fit. I'm 6ft 3 and I bought the Xl fit just feels so nice, long arms upto my knuckles, good length, so nice and warm you want want to take it off.

Highly recommended seriously and for such a great price!!!

A great jacket for harsh conditions
This is my 3rd Marmot garment I bought this year; and no mistake -- again.

First to be specific: Super Gravity isn't what you might think a 'winter jacket' as it's sometimes advertised. It's warm, windproof and water-repellent (but *not waterproof* as I understand this term) but not insulated like winter jackets usually are. It is a superb winter sport-style fast-moving-person piece of equipment rather than a bulky Michelin-man looking coat (and I needed and wanted such an item).
I didn't use it in summer but I believe it's hardly a summer jacket.

If you get into the Super Gravity for harsh wind, or snowfall, or rain, you'll notice that the roomy hood gives plenty of space (it's designed to fit a climbing helmet), but even without the helmet nothing obstructs your view. Also the sleeves are perfect -- not too long, not too short. However, they'd be better with thumb-loops attached.
