I am a UK 10 - 12, I ordered 'M' with fingers crossed! The jacket does fit with a little room to spare but I wouldn't be able to get it on wearing a cardigan or jumper underneath. I had a long sleeved tee shirt on at the time. The sleeves come just below wrist so size 'L' may be longer still. The jacket is stylish and looks good on and yes the material is thin but then it does state it is for those in-between weather days. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.
