Very Good lightweight rain jacket
I did a lot of research before I decided to go for a Marmot Aegis Considered all the other big name brands but this had the best reviews. Big plus point is it is surprisingly light and very compact when storing. I have tested it in a downfall and it did the job. On the inside it does look a bit like an over eager cellotaped christmas present but these taped seals do their job. Point to note when ordering - the sizes are very generous. I ordered a large one but it is more XL. Also the pockets are simple netting so if you are carrying keys or sharp items, you may need to line the pockets first. Will save unnecessary scratching and damage to the netting. Last point is one for the manufacturers - I would recommend a modification to the tape width on the pin side (left) of the main jacket zip. It needs more width, maybe another 5mm. I struggle to get the left pin in the right box as there is very little material to play with. So for this reason alone, I would have given this jacket an...
