Good jacket, bad hood
This a comfortable waterproof/windproof jacket and it is warm enough to stand up to the cold of Winter, however for me it has a couple of setbacks that stop me from giving this item more than 3 stars. The first is the length of the body I usually take an XL but I erred on the side of caution and went for a size up and I'm glad I did. The sleeves fit fine and have the usual Velcro adjustable ends that help add to the warmth of the jacket on cold, wet or windy days but the length of the body just and I mean just fits me and no more.
The second thing that's not so great on this jacket is the hood. It can be folded away into the jacket which is good but the hood itself seems a bit on the small side and even in the lightest winds would not stay up on my head so I'm not looking forward to any wet and windy days in the coming Winter months.
However it's still an affordable jacket that works very well on cold, windy days but looses points when wind and rain combine.
