Good Jacket But A Couple Of Worries.
I am always reluctant to buy clothing online. You don't get to feel the material amongst other things.

This is a good foul weather jacket, and very warm when worn with the liner, but there are a couple of items that would have meant I would not have bought it if I had seen it in a real shop.

First, the hood has no stiffening wire around the front seem, so it is a bit of a bother keeping it in shape, especially in the wind.

Secondly, and perhaps more significant, is that the outer shell of the jacket seems very flimsy. I doubt whether it would stand up to any sort of rough treatment. It just seems as if it might tear easily.

This is not a bad jacket by any means, but it reinforces my belief that buying clothes online is a bad idea. If you can put up with the couple of things I mentioned, then you should be OK. I'll use it for a while, but I will still be looking for a jacket with a hood wire and a more substantial outer shell before the...

Warm, waterproof jacket
I bought this to wear over a sweater to provide a warm and waterproof coat. I'd looked, on Amazon, at several hundred coats before choosing this. I found that it's so warm that even at 0 degrees C all I need underneath is a T-shirt. It has a detachable lining that turns it into a raincoat during less-cold weather. Equipped with lots of pockets and a hood. It is also windproof: I sat in snowy weather in a high wind and felt quite warm from the knees up.

The only snag is that I am very disabled and the coat is quite heavy, so, for me, it's a struggle to get it on. But it certainly lives up to expectations.
