Worth shelling out for
I have this in the blue in a large size and it fits snugly over a T and fleece (I'm 6ft1, 13st4). The unlined material is slightly thicker than anticipated but feels soft and warm. The sleeves are nice and long which is a result as I have long arms and the zips are good quality and wind proofed. The three outer pockets are zipped and there are also two deep internal pockets although I wouldn't put anything too heavy in them. The handy chest pocket zip has a hood at the top of the zip so you could feed your iPod wire out whilst keeping the rain at bay. There are reflective details for night runners and two waist toggles to keep the wind out if required. The main zip has a cover at the top too to stop the zipper touching your neck which is a good idea on chilly days.

I like to wear light jackets that combined with the right layers can keep the cold at bay and this fits the bill for this purpose. If I could change anything I would prefer Velcro cuffed sleeves and some side...

Protection without Obstruction
When you're shopping for a sports jacket, I'm always looking for something that will give me the protection from the elements but that won't get in the way of what I'm wanting to do. Fortunately in the case of this jacket it does just that. The outer layer is a semi-waterproof fabric though I wouldn't count on it keeping you bone dry in a downpour keeping it elastic enough to hug the body. The sleeves and length of the item were fine for me but given the elasticated material and tight hugging nature of the item if you are concerned about fit I would edge on the larger side. There are also three pockets, two on each side and one on the breast which would be ideal for a music player.

Despite this being a good jacket, I have a couple of criticisms. The fabric isn't breathable so could get hot in warm weather given the nature of the material. The zips, cuffs and collar also don't feel as high quality as they could do but at the same time don't feel as if they are going to break...
