Awesome piece of kit
I have bought and used a lot of outdoor kit in my time and I can say without compromise this is the best item I have owned in a long time. I had my doubts and the price tag was certainly an issue for thought when making the purchase but in the end i think it's worth the cash. I bought this as a do all summer jacket as I already have heavier weight gear for winter and snow and my summer outdoor jacket recently gave up the ghost after 7 years (not arc'teryx but another brand). Having worn it daily for the last week in varying conditions I can say this, it is a lightweight, water resistant, very windproof and very warm jacket. The hood is massive and has good volume adjustment, the material is strong and resilient to most things (including being chewed by my 1 year old son).

The only downside i wold say is that the fit is tight and the drop at the front short, so don't expect to cover much below your waist.

Overall though I'm very happy with it and would recommend...
