I bought this as an outer-/mid-layer for autumn hill and mountain walking. This jacket is lightweight, highly breathable and shower- resistant. I found that it kept me comfortable and dry during both strenuous up-hill stretches and during rest stops. It seems to keep me comfortable over a very wide range of temperatures and activity levels. It also looks smart and packs away small when not needed. One of my favourite bits of kit. Only criticism and what stops this being a 5-star review is that the zips on the pockets could have done with tabs to make them easier to get hold of, especially with cold hands. I'd give 4.8 stars if I could.
